At Natural Flow of Life Acupuncture and Herbs in Denver, we’re happy to work with insurance when acupuncture benefits are available on your plan.
Because every policy is different, we verify your coverage before treatment so you understand exactly what your plan may cover and what your out-of-pocket responsibility will be.
If you’re not using insurance, we also offer simple, transparent self-pay rates.

If your plan isn’t listed, we may still be able to bill your plan out-of-network, depending on your benefits. You may also use HSA or FSA cards for eligible acupuncture services.

Even when we bill insurance, your policy is an agreement between you (and/or your employer) and your insurer.
All insurance patients review and sign an Insurance Patient Consent, Assignment & Financial Responsibility Agreement in our EHR before treatment.
If any service isn’t covered by your plan, we’ll inform you and provide self-pay options before treatment.

Do you guarantee my insurance will pay?
No. Verification is a courtesy; only your insurer makes final payment decisions. You’re responsible for any portion they don’t cover.
Do I need a referral?
Some HMO or Medicare Advantage plans require prior authorization. We’ll let you know if this applies.
Can I use my HSA or FSA card?
Yes — most acupuncture and herbal services are HSA/FSA-eligible.
What if my plan is out-of-network?
We may be able to bill out-of-network or provide a superbill for possible reimbursement.
